Metalforms, Inc. has been an industry leader in design and fabrication of shell and tube heat exchangers since its founding in 1968. We perform thermal design, rating of heat exchangers, and perform the mechanical design per A.S.M.E. Code, Section VIII, Division 1. Software used for engineering and project control includes proprietary design programs, BJAC, H.T.R.I (Member # 263), and Phillips Petroleum Rod Baffle Technology. 

Various state of the art computer aided design programs plus a database of computer aided drafting standards are tools which when combined with the background of our strong engineering group allow us to rapidly and accurately analyze each customer’s problem and present one or several viable options as dictated by the customer’s requirements and / or situation. Once a customer has decided on a course of action; that same engineering strength comes into play to rapidly produce CAD drawings and documented calculations for the customer’s review.

Our engineering staff is ready to support your organization by providing engineering services only.  We are prepared and have the ability to perform complete design work for your exchanger needs to whatever level you desire. 

Our well qualified engineering staff is supported by a state of the art computer network and top of the line computer workstations.  Our production engineering group is staffed by 12 degreed engineers whose background encompasses Mechanical, chemical, industrial, electrical and civil disciplines.  A majority hold more than one degree.

Metalforms' highly skilled workforce of nearly 200 includes: Engineers, CAD draftsmen, Boilermakers, Equipment Operators, Machinists, Assemblymen, Painters, and Support Staff.
